Student Uniform Standards

Girls Uniform:

Grades PreK-5

·        Red, white, navy, and light blue Plaid jumper with school emblem (must be purchased from Parker School Uniform)

·        Short or long sleeved light blue polo or dress shirt

·        Dark navy slacks: Loose knit pull-up styles are acceptable. (NO TIGHTS)

·        Shoes: NON-Marking black, navy, brown shoes or sneakers.

·        White head cover for all girls (during Salat).

·        Dark navy cardigan (no logos or graphics)

·        Girls’ tops, slacks, and cardigans are available at Parker School Uniform but may be purchased from other vendors/stores.

Grades 6-8

·        Red, white, navy, and light blue Plaid jumper with school emblem (must be purchased from Parker School Uniform)

·        Long sleeved white dress shirt

·        Dark navy slacks: Loose knit pull-up styles are acceptable. (NO TIGHTS)

·        Dark navy cardigans

·        Shoes: NON-Marking black, navy, brown shoes or sneakers.

·         White head cover

·        Dark navy cardigans (no logos or graphics)

·        Girls’ tops, slacks, and cardigans are available at Parker School Uniform but may be purchased from other vendors/stores.

·      Girls in Grades 6-8 may wear solid black Abayah - ONLY black embroidery allowed. Solid Black/Navy Blue pant with shirt need to be worn under the Abayah.

Grades 9-12:

          Red, white, navy, and light blue Plaid jumper with school emblem (must be purchased from Parker School Uniform) or solid black Abayah.

          Long sleeved white dress shirt

          Dark navy slacks: Loose knit pull-up styles are acceptable. (NO TIGHTS)

          Dark navy cardigans

          Shoes: NON-Marking black, navy, brown shoes or sneakers.

          SOLID COLOR head cover

             Dark navy cardigans (no logos or graphics)

Boys Uniform:

Grades PreK-5

·         Dark navy pants - (NO JEANS OR SHORTS)

·         Light blue polo or dress shirt with school emblem (must be purchased from Parker School Uniform)

·         Shoes: NON-Marking black, navy, brown shoes or sneakers

·         Dark navy cardigans (no logos or graphics)

·         Boys’ pants and cardigans may be purchased from other vendors/stores.

Grades 6-8

·         Dark navy pants - (NO JEANS OR SHORTS)

·         White dress shirt with school emblem (must be purchased from Parker School Uniform)

·         Red, white, navy, and light blue Plaid tie (must be purchased from Parker School Uniform)

·         Shoes: NON-Marking black, navy, brown shoes or sneakers.

·         Dark navy cardigans (no logos or graphics)

·         Boys’ pants and cardigans may be purchased from other vendors/stores

Grades 9-12:

                Dark navy blue or khaki pants- (NO JEANS OR SHORTS)

                     White or light blue dress shirt                                                                                                                                                                                                                

                     Tie

               Shoes: NON-Marking black, navy, brown shoes or sneakers

               Dark navy sweaters (no logos or graphics)

P.E.:

1.      PVS white T-Shirt is required for both boys and girls.

2.      Black sweat pants. No tights allowed.

3.      Non-marking sneakers

NOTE:

1.      Uniform is required for all students in Pre-K through 8^th grade.

 3.      Some uniform items (mentioned above) may be purchased from other vendors/stores.

4.      No uniform required for daycare/pre-school students.  However, children should come to school in clean and comfortable attire appropriate for their age.

5.      Boys are not allowed to wear any kind of jewelry.  Girls may however, wear simple stud earrings ONLY. No other jewelry allowed. No make-up allowed.

6.      All students are required to wear proper uniform.  Non-compliance will result in disciplinary action.

 

Non-compliance with the Student Uniform Standards may result in the following consequences:

First Offense: Warning, non-compliance recorded, copy sent home with student and returned with parent’s signature

Second Offense: One after school detention assigned

Third Offense: Two after school detentions assigned

Fourth and subsequent offenses: In-school suspension.

Continued non-compliance will result in further disciplinary action as deemed appropriate by the school’s administration and may result in long term suspension from school.

"NO UNIFORM” DRESS CODE

Students may have the privilege of periodic “No Uniform” days. Students must exercise good judgment and responsibility when choosing clothing for these days and follow the dress code policy set forth for these days.

Girls:

 

 

No shorts, capris or cop pants

No tight clothing

No inappropriate messages on wording on clothing

No extremely fancy party clothing

No high heels

No makeup, including nail polish

No jewelry other than simple earrings

No bare midriff or low-cut shirts No shorts allowed for girls or boys grades 1-8

Girls’ in grades 6-8 must wear a scarf and long sleeved top.

Girls’ in grades K-5 must wear scarf during prayer.

 

Boys:

 

No shorts must be knee length

No excessively baggy pants

No sleeveless shirts for boys

No inappropriate messages on wording on clothing

No jewelry

 If a student chooses not to follow the dress code according to these guidelines, he/she will be given a uniform notice, and free dress privileges may be suspended. Also, parents may be called to bring an alternative set of clothing to school.
