Dear Parents:
As-Salaamu Alaikum,

It is always a great honor to start the school year by sharing good news and new initiatives.  I am very proud of our accomplishments and wish to applaud the fantastic work of our excellent teaching and support staff and our hard working and motivated students.

Insha'Allah, this year we are undertaking a number of initiatives to build on and strengthen our programs at PVS.

Our New Initiatives are as follows:

Al-Qaidah An-Noraniah: We have adopted the Al Qaidah An Noraniah method to teach reading of the Holy Qur'an with Tajweed for ALL students.  Alhamdulillah, our Qur'an teachers have completed the necessary training to implement this method.

Accreditation: the school will seek accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). This accreditation will engage our school in a constant self-evaluation and reflections to maintain the standard of excellence at PVS.  Insha'Allah, we anticipate completing all requirements by 2012.

Sports Complex:  The addition of Tennis and Basketball  to our sports programs for all grades, insha'Allah
